Kate Wolitzky-Taylor

Dr. Kate Wolitzky-Taylor is an Associate Professor and Associate Director at the UCLA Anxiety and Depression Research Center (ADRC) within the Department of Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles. She holds concurrent roles as Director of Clinical Services for the Depression Grand Challenge Innovative Treatment Network and co-PI for the STAND NIMH ALACRITY Center (P50 grant). Dr. Wolitzky-Taylor provides clinical care in the UCLA Faculty Practice Outpatient Clinic and Behavioral Health Services while directing a CBT rotation for psychiatry residents.

Her research focuses on anxiety disorders, comorbid emotional and substance use disorders, CBT mechanisms of change, and community mental health implementation. A K23 career development award supported her work on brief CBT programs in SUD clinics.
