Dr. Ahmad S. Halwani serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies within the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He concurrently holds positions as a staff physician and health services researcher at the Informatics, Decision Enhancement, & Analytics Sciences (IDEAS) Center of Innovation at the George E Whalen Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salt Lake City. His dual appointments bridge academic medicine and Veterans Affairs healthcare systems, with specialized roles as cancer data subject matter expert and health information technology implementation expert for the VA National Oncology Program.
