Anthony Pennant (he/him/el) is an Associate Professor in the Couple and Family Therapy department at Antioch University-Seattle . He is the Executive Director of the Colibri Center for Systemic Training & Development and creator of the SFT for ASD model for treating autism and families. He also maintains a private practice supporting marginalized communities. Doctorate : Marriage and Family Therapy, Antioch University New England (2022) Master's : Marriage and Family Therapy, Drexel University (2012) Bachelor's : Behavioral Health Counseling, Drexel University (2010) His research focuses on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) , Neurodiversity in children , and cultural competence in family therapy. He develops systemic models for neurodiverse families and explores ethical training frameworks like the Person of the Therapist (POTT) model. His work addresses the intersection of People of Color , LGBTQIA+ , and transracial families in clinical settings. Recent publications include a book on Multidynamic Relational Therapy (2024) and a co-authored article on the POTT program's implementation in clinical education (2022). His research trends emphasize systemic interventions , ethical therapy training , and cultural inclusivity in family therapy.
