Joleen Ryan is a Lecturer in Social Work at the NIKERI Institute, Faculty of Arts and Education, Deakin University. A proud Gunditjmara woman with qualifications in social work and project management, she specializes in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research methods, cultural safety, and health policy.
