Dr. Leong Siew Lian is a registered pharmacist and lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia. She holds a PhD from Monash University, a Master of Clinical Pharmacy from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honors) from Universiti Malaya. Her research focuses on clinical pharmacy, oncology, medication safety, and evidence synthesis, aiming to improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients. She has supervised multiple research projects at Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences and contributed to initiatives like the BBAC Non-Communicable Disease project in ASEAN. Dr. Leong has been awarded the 2022 Strategic Research Fund grant and has organized workshops on health economic evaluation. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being. Education: PhD (Monash University, 2018), MSc Clinical Pharmacy (UKM, 2010), BPharm (UM, 2004). Research Interests: Clinical pharmacy practice, oncology, medication safety, evidence synthesis, and healthcare workforce optimization. Key areas include pharmacist-led interventions in pain management, pharmacogenomics education, and cost-effectiveness of public health strategies. Professional Activities: Active in organizing workshops on health economics and contributing to interdisciplinary projects addressing healthcare challenges in Southeast Asia.
