Shukun Li is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), affiliated with the Bio-Organic Chemistry group and the Institute for Complex Molecular Systems (ICMS). Her work focuses on polymer/peptide-based nanomaterials for cancer immunotherapy and photothermal/photonodynamic therapies.
- PhD from Institute of Process Engineering, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2021)
- International Postdoctoral Exchange Fellowship (2021)
- NSFC Young Scientists Grant (2022)
- Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (2023)
Research spans nanodrug morphology engineering, tumor-targeted delivery, and immune system modulation. Recent publications highlight her work on:
- pH-responsive nanosheets for combined PDT/immunotherapy
- shape-controlled nanoparticles for enhanced photothermal effects
- biocompatible ICG nanoparticle systems
Scientific Awards:
- Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships
- NSFC Young Scientists Program
- International Postdoctoral Exchange Fellowship
Her projects receive funding from MSCA, Dutch Ministry of Education (Gravitation Program), ERC, and NSFC. Collaborations include Xuehai Yan (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Jan van Hest's group (TU/e).
