Karlos Artto is a Professor of Project Business at Aalto University's School of Science, leading the Project Business research group (PB). He holds a doctoral degree from Helsinki University of Technology (1995) and has over three decades of academic and industry experience. His research focuses on project management, operations, and innovation in complex projects, with notable contributions to understanding organizational integration, defense procurement, and resilience in academia. He has supervised 176 master’s theses and numerous doctoral students, contributing to both academic discourse and industry partnerships through collaborative projects with global firms.
