Michael Williams serves as Professor of Marketing and holds the American Floral Services Chair in Marketing at Oklahoma City University's School of Business within the Department of Marketing & Management. With 28 years of business experience spanning marketing and research, he actively contributes as a consultant and board member for multiple organizations while maintaining his academic position. His educational foundation includes: Ph.D. in Marketing from Oklahoma State University M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Oklahoma B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma Dr. Williams specializes in marketing performance issues with particular expertise in buyer-seller interactions, interpersonal influence mechanisms, customer development and retention strategies, organizational culture dynamics, and inter-functional integration impacts. His research consistently bridges theoretical frameworks with practical business applications, emphasizing data-driven decision making and relationship-based marketing approaches. Analysis of his recent publications reveals an expanding interdisciplinary scope beyond traditional marketing into healthcare outcomes, public policy analysis, and environmental systems.
