Jonathan Brouillette is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at the Université de Montréal, where he leads research on Alzheimer’s disease and age-related memory loss. His work focuses on identifying molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration and developing therapeutic interventions. He holds affiliations with the Signal Signaling and Circuitry Research Group (SNC) and the Quebec Interdisciplinary Research Center on the Brain and Learning (CIRCA). Education: PhD in Neuroscience (2001), McGill University Postdoctoral training at Yale University (2011) and Université de Lille 2 / Université de Louvain (2007) Research: Brouillette’s lab uses animal models and molecular biology techniques (e.g., RNAseq, immunohistochemistry) to study amyloid-beta oligomer toxicity, tau propagation, and sleep-cognition interactions.
