Professor Clemens Kiecker is a Professor of Neuroscience Education at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), with affiliations to the School of Neuroscience, Centre for Developmental Neurobiology, and Department of Anatomy. He serves as Course Lead for the MSci in Neuroscience and chairs the Undergraduate Neuroscience Assessment Sub-board. His research focuses on vertebrate forebrain embryogenesis, particularly the role of Wnt and Sonic Hedgehog signaling pathways in establishing regional identity and compartment boundaries during brain development. He completed his PhD at Heidelberg University, focusing on embryonic axis formation in Xenopus laevis.
