Prof. Dr. Barbara Sophie Hänel-Faulhaber is a Professor at the University of Hamburg’s Faculty of Education , specializing in German Sign Language (DGS) and audiopedagogy . Her research focuses on language acquisition and processing in DGS , particularly among deaf children and inclusive educational settings .
