Jan C. Ting is a Professor of Law at Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he has been a faculty member since 1977. He holds advanced degrees from Harvard Law School, the University of Hawaii, and Oberlin College, specializing in citizenship, immigration, and tax law. From 1990 to 1993, he served as Assistant Commissioner of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, and from 1994 to 2001, he directed Temple's Graduate Tax Program.
