Kyle Peterson serves as the Director of the School of Accounting and holds the Charles E. Johnson Memorial Professorship at the Lundquist College of Business, University of Oregon. He specializes in financial analysts, corporate disclosure, and financial statement complexity. His research has been published in top journals such as The Accounting Review and Management Science. He holds a PhD from the University of Michigan and previously worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

His research interests focus on improving the comparability and transparency of corporate financial disclosures, leveraging textual analysis and machine learning.
