Dr. Caroline Zagonel De Linhares is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Course Leader for MSc Accounting & Finance and MSc Forensic Accounting at the Sheffield Business School, part of the College of Business, Technology and Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University. She is also the PRME Lead for the Sheffield Business School and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her qualifications include a PhD in Accounting (University of Sheffield, 2018), an MBA (University of Sheffield, 2011), and a BSc in Accounting (FAE Business School, 2005). Teaching responsibilities include courses such as MSc Accounting and Finance and BSc Accounting and Finance, with modules on Environmental Accounting, Dissertation, and Strategic Management Accounting. Her research focuses on Social and Environmental Accounting and Reporting, emphasizing sustainability integration into organizational decision-making and the effectiveness of sustainability reporting. She is affiliated with the Social and Economic Research Institute and currently supervises three doctoral students. Key awards include her FHEA designation, reflecting her commitment to education quality. Her work bridges industry experience in corporate reporting with academic research, advocating for Responsible Management Education and sustainable development practices.
