Professor Joe Cox is a Professor of Fintech and Digital Economy, and Associate Head (Research and Innovation) at the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, University of Portsmouth. He holds a PhD from 2012 and has led research initiatives such as the Canada Research Chair in Canada. His work focuses on the digital economy, crowdfunding, and creative industries, with over £1.5M in external funding from EPSRC, AHRC, and Innovate UK.
