Dr. Yi-Chieh (EJ) Lee is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS), with a joint appointment at Yale-NUS College. His research bridges human-computer interaction (HCI), computational social science, and human-centered AI to address social challenges. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2021) and previously worked as a researcher at NTT, Japan. Specializing in conversational agents and human-AI collaboration, he designs AI systems that promote mental well-being and behavior change, with a focus on ethical AI and societal impact.
