Dr Zhujun Ding is a Senior Lecturer in International Business at King's Business School, King's College London. Her academic career spans institutions in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and the UK, with a focus on international business and entrepreneurship research.
Dr Ding obtained her PhD in Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, establishing a strong foundation for her research in international business and emerging markets.
Her primary research interests center on Strategy, International Management, and Entrepreneurship, with particular expertise in emerging market firms, business angels, and institutional influences on international business. Her work often examines how firms from emerging economies navigate complex institutional environments to expand internationally.
Dr Ding's publication record demonstrates a consistent focus on international business challenges, particularly related to emerging markets. Her recent work has examined corruption control in microfinance institutions, organizational learning in emerging market firms, and the internationalization patterns of Chinese companies. Her research combines institutional theory with resource-based view perspectives to understand how firms leverage capabilities in different institutional contexts.
