Zhou Xiang is an Associate Professor and Postgraduate Supervisor at the Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture, Southeast University (SEU). He also serves as a special-term PhD co-supervisor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and holds roles in professional committees such as the Cultural Landscape Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture (CHSLA) and the Jiangsu Civil Engineering & Architectural Society (JCEAS).
Research interests include digital research of landscape heritage, historic urban landscapes (HUL), urban regeneration, high-quality public space construction, and cultural landscape management. His work emphasizes community empowerment and landscape perception.
He has received multiple honors, including the National Best Practice Teacher of Undergraduate and Education Development Fund of Southeast University. Funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and international foundations, he focuses on landscape heritage preservation and urban regeneration projects in China.
