Wang Xiaojun

Wang Xiaojun is a Professor and doctoral advisor at the School of Architecture, Southeast University, affiliated with the Department of Landscape Architecture. He actively contributes to the China Society of Landscape Architecture as a Committee member and serves on the editorial board of China Landscape Architecture.

Research interests: Landscape architecture design theory and methods, urban green space form and layout, with a focus on integrating design practice into urban planning frameworks. His work emphasizes sustainable urban development and ecological design principles.

Design Projects: Led or participated in over 30 landscape architecture and urban planning projects nationally, achieving recognition through 14 national and provincial awards. Key honors include National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Industry Awards, Ministry of Education Planning and Design Awards, and multiple Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Engineering Design Awards.

Academic Contributions: Authored three books, contributed to five translations, and edited/co-edited three textbooks. Published over 40 papers in domestic core journals, advancing theories in landscape architecture and urban greening.

Grants: Participated in 4 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, supporting his research on urban landscape regeneration and ecological design.

Professional Leadership: Engaged in organizing academic events like the AAAC International Conferences and SEU-PENN symposiums, emphasizing innovative rural and urban landscape design.
