Ning Xu is an Associate Professor and PhD supervisor in the Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture, Southeast University, China. She serves as deputy director of the department and is a national first-class registered architect. Her academic work bridges landscape architecture, urban design, and digital technologies, with a focus on regenerative design for urban-rural landscapes.
- Education: Joint doctoral candidate at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich).
Research Interests include landscape architecture planning, digital urban design methodologies, and the integration of ecological principles into public space design. Her work emphasizes computational modeling for landscape resilience and sustainable rural-urban development.
Scientific Achievements feature over 40 publications, 11 authorized patents, and editorial leadership for the Urban Open Space Research Series, including 2 monographs and a translation. She has secured three National Natural Science Foundation grants, a National Key Research sub-project, and a Chinese Doctoral Program grant.
