Chen Wei is a Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Architecture, Southeast University, affiliated with the Institute of Architectural History and Theory. She has been a faculty member since 1986 and has held prominent roles such as Vice Chairman of the Architectural Culture Academic Committee and Vice President of the Architectural History Branch of the Architectural Society of China.

Teaching: She has taught courses such as History of Chinese Architecture, History of Chinese Gardens, and Ancient Urban History of China. Currently, she teaches Introduction to Architectural History, Research of Yingzao Fashi, and Historiography and Research Methods in Architectural History.
