Zhou Conghui is a full Professor and Ph.D. advisor at the School of Architecture, Southeast University, where he has worked since 2013. He holds additional roles as a National Certified Planner of China, visiting professor at the University of Rome (Sapienza), and Visiting Scholar at Columbia University. His academic leadership extends to serving as an evaluation expert for national landscape architecture graduate programs, a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Forest Park Review Committee.

He has secured funding from China's National Natural Science Foundation (General and Young Scholars Programs) and the Ministry of Housing and Construction, with his book Principles and Methods of Pocket Park Planning and Design recommended for publication by Springer (2025). His work appears in journals like Cities, Sustainable Cities and Society, and Journal of Environmental Management.
Zhou has directed large-scale projects in the Yangtze River Delta and Yellow River Delta, winning multiple awards for AI-driven design innovations. He leads cross-disciplinary teaching collaborations with the University of Rome and SEU's AI department, while his students have earned over 10 high-level competition awards.
