Zbigniew Władek

Dr. Zbigniew Władek is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Law and Legal Professions, Faculty of Law and Administration, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin. He is also a legal advisor at the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Lublin and has been an attorney at the Lublin Bar Association (2014–2020). His academic and professional work spans teaching, research, and administrative roles, including leading seminars in Internal Security (both full-time and part-time modes) and contributing to the education of over 300 bachelor’s and master’s students as a supervisor and reviewer.

His research focuses on the legal dimensions of private property, the democratic rule of law, and organizational-legal aspects of public administration. He has authored 25 publications, including two monographs and a reissued academic textbook, and edited a five-volume commemorative book dedicated to Professor Roman A. Tokarczyk.

Dr. Władek holds leadership roles at UMCS, including Chair of the Rector’s Recruitment Team, Head of the Legal Informatics Workshop, and member of the Faculty Didactics Commission. He is also active in academic governance as Chairman of the ZNP Auditing Commission, a representative in the Scientific Council of the Institute of Legal Sciences, and in employment committees for academic staff at UMCS. Additionally, he serves as President of the Lublin-based Association Uniwersał Formacji i Integracji.

He has conducted lectures and seminars at multiple Polish and Ukrainian universities, including Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
