Dr. Yvonne Wolf is an academic at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, affiliated with the German Institute for Modern German Literature within the Faculty of Philosophy and Philology. She holds a doctorate from Mainz University (2002) and has served as a research associate since 2000, advancing to academic councilor/senior councilor since 2009. From 2008–2014, she managed the German Institute’s study programs. Her research focuses on 19th–20th century German literature, particularly Heimito von Doderer’s works, narratology, and modernist aesthetics. Her publications analyze spatial narratives, narrative unreliability, and intertextual connections between literature and historical contexts.
