Yuichiro Komatsu is a Professor of Art in the Department of Art at Columbus State University. He holds an MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and a BFA from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He previously taught at Alberta University of the Arts, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, and Queens College, City University of New York.
