Yuichiro Komatsu

Yuichiro Komatsu is a Professor of Art in the Department of Art at Columbus State University. He holds an MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and a BFA from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He previously taught at Alberta University of the Arts, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, and Queens College, City University of New York.

His research and creative practice centers on Studio Arts, particularly Ceramics and 3D Design. His work explores the intersection of art, architecture, and public space, often manifesting in large-scale ceramic installations and biomorphic sculptural forms.
