Gabriella Carboni is an interdisciplinary fine artist and educator currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Skidmore College and an Instructor at ArtCenter College of Design. She has exhibited her work internationally in Italy, New York, and Michigan, with a focus on biomorphic abstraction that explores human relationships and natural forms.
Her educational background includes:

Carboni's research focuses on biomorphism, exploring how natural shapes and forms can represent human relationships, intimacy, and kinship. Her work spans drawing, painting, and sculpture, with recent inspiration drawn from travel experiences, slot canyons, tectonic plates, and physical connections between bodies. She creates through a fluid process that begins with small drawings which evolve into larger works, often without rigid planning.
Her exhibition history shows consistent output with notable shows including "On the Precipice" (2023) at KO Art & Antiques in London and "If We Get A House" (2022), a collaborative exhibition with Lauren Anaïs Hussey. Her work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions across the United States and Europe, with upcoming shows scheduled for 2024-2025 at prestigious venues including the Royal Scottish Academy and Schick Gallery.
