Melanie Vote is an Adjunct Professor of Painting at the New York Academy of Art, where she teaches graduate programs. A multimedia artist and painter based in New York, she has exhibited her work internationally at institutions such as Flowers Gallery, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, and ADAH Abu Dhabi, with recent solo shows at Galleria Farina and Hionas Gallery. Her practice merges painting with multimedia techniques to explore abstract and figurative forms.

Her research and artistic work focuses on contemporary painting, abstraction, and the interplay of texture and form. Exhibitions like Traces (2011) and Overgrowth (2016) highlight her exploration of organic and layered visual narratives.
