Ying Xu

Dr Ying Xu is a Lecturer at the Newcastle Business School, University of Newcastle, Australia, since January 2019. She previously held academic roles at Macquarie University and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

• Education: PhD (2010) in Corporate Sustainability Strategies from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
• Research Focus: Strategic and sustainable human resource management (HRM), employment relations (employee voice and participation), corporate sustainability, and interdisciplinary work in health economics.

Recent Publications include studies on labor-management partnerships, employee well-being in China, workplace dynamics in chronic illness, and sustainable HRM practices. Her Grants ($7,970) focus on employee voice in technology adoption and research relief for working parents. She supervises PhD students in areas like sustainable business models and environmental leadership.
