Dr. Yeonji Seo is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Sydney Business School. She earned her PhD in Management and Organisation from The Pennsylvania State University, with prior degrees from Ewha Womans University (BA, Magna Cum Laude) and Seoul National University (MS).

Her research focuses on the interplay between firms’ strategic choices, impression management, and social evaluations such as reputation, stigma, and CSR. She employs both qualitative and quantitative methods, including LIWC text analysis and STATA regression techniques.
Recent research projects analyze organisational celebrity, activist shareholders, and governance impacts on CSR ratings. Her publications span journals like Strategic Organization and Journal of Management, alongside book chapters and conference presentations.
