Young Ah Seo, PhD, serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, where her research investigates molecular mechanisms of iron and manganese homeostasis and their critical roles in neurodegenerative diseases, metabolic disorders, and inflammatory bowel disease. Her work bridges basic molecular science with population health outcomes through the Seo Lab.
