Yea Jung Park is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Saint Louis University's College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University and specializes in Middle English literature with interdisciplinary approaches to medieval culture.
Her research examines medieval religious texts, social epistemology, and global translations of Chaucer, employing feminist and medical humanities frameworks. Recent articles explore pedagogical approaches to medieval literature and contemporary readings of mystical texts.
Dr. Park received the Abigail R. Cohen Fellowship at the Institute for Ideas and Imagination (2023-24). She teaches courses on Middle English literature, British literary traditions, and film-literature intersections.
