Yang Yang is a Professor and Assistant Chair at the William G. Rohrer College of Business, Rowan University. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Ivey Business School (Western University, Canada) and completed postdoctoral studies at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on gender/diversity in organizations, work-family flexibility, and strategic HRM. She has been recognized with awards such as the Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award and serves as an Associate Editor at Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: An International Journal and Frontiers in Organizational Psychology. She also holds leadership roles, including Secretary of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Division at the Academy of Management (2021-27).
Education: Ph.D. in Business Administration (University of Western Ontario), B.A. in Economics (Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China).
Research interests emphasize organizational diversity, work-life balance strategies, and HRM frameworks. Her work bridges theoretical and practical aspects of inclusive organizational practices. Recent publications explore topics such as cooperative inference systems, edge computing optimization, and smart contract risk analysis, reflecting interdisciplinary engagement.
