Wong Wei Chin

Associate Professor Wong Wei Chin is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She is also a Senior Consultant in the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Her expertise spans geriatric medicine, with clinical interests in falls/balance, osteoporosis, and frailty. She holds memberships from the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and fellowships from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.

Her research and clinical work focus on aging-related conditions and medical education. She has led educational initiatives, including roles as Education Track Lead for the Institute of Geriatrics and Active Ageing (2018–2021). She actively contributes to teaching and training programs across multiple disciplines, including medical students, residents, and nurses.

Notable awards include NHG Teaching Excellence awards (2020, 2021) and the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Top 20 Teacher Award (2022). She serves on key committees such as the Joint Committee on Specialist Training (JCST) and the MOH Pharmacy Residents Selection committee.

Her leadership roles include Deputy Chairperson of the NHG Domain Specific Review Board and examiner for NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine’s Geriatric Medicine programs.
