Phua Dong Haur

Phua Dong Haur is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also a Senior Consultant Emergency Physician at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and serves as Assistant Dean of Assessment at LKCMedicine. His roles include Core Faculty in the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Emergency Medicine Residency Programme and Programme Director (2017–2023), focusing on strengthening residency training and faculty development.

Dr. Phua holds a Master’s in Medical Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago, specializing in Measurement and Assessment. He has established a toxicology consultation service at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and contributed to national healthcare initiatives, including advising Singapore’s Ministry of Health on specialist examinations.

Research Interests: His work bridges clinical practice and education, addressing challenges in acute poisoning management, diagnostic decision-making, and leveraging artificial intelligence for assessment innovations. He emphasizes practical improvements in healthcare systems to benefit patients and society.
