Professor William Doherty is a prominent academic at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), specializing in chemical engineering with a focus on biomass and biopolymer technologies. He holds a PhD from the University of East London and has over 20 years of teaching experience in surface chemistry, carbohydrate chemistry, and sugar quality.
