Associate Professor Kameron Dunn is a Fellow in the Centre for Agriculture and the Bioeconomy (CAB) within QUT's Faculty of Engineering. He holds a PhD from QUT and Bachelor degrees in Chemical Engineering and Science from James Cook University. His expertise spans biorefining, biochemical production, pilot plant development, and process engineering. Dunn's research focuses on transforming agricultural and industrial waste into valuable products like biofuels, biochemicals, and carbon materials through thermochemical processes such as hydrothermal liquefaction and pyrolysis. He has led projects funded by Advanced Queensland and the SRDC, advancing supercritical fluid technologies for product recovery and fractionation.

- Advising: Supervises PhD projects on food waste biorefineries, municipal solid waste pyrolysis, and bio-oil fractionation. Current roles include Principal/Associate Supervisor in four doctoral projects.
- Labs/Infrastructure: Pioneered upgrades to QUT's Mackay Biocommodities Pilot Plant and Redlands Research Facility for biomass processing and mineral refinement.
