Dr. Whitney Standlee is a Senior Lecturer in English Literature and School Quality Coordinator at the University of Worcester. She specializes in 19th- and early 20th-century literature, with a focus on Irish women’s writing and migrant literature. Her roles include teaching core and elective modules, advising on exhibitions, and board membership in academic networks.
Education:

- Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching for Higher Education (2014), University of Worcester
Research & Contributions: Her work includes two recent books on Irish women’s writing and advisory roles for the National Trust Exhibition on Emily Massingberd (2018) and the Irish Women’s Writing 1880–1920 Network board. She organizes study trips to Ireland and other cultural sites.
Teaching: Modules include Ways of Reading, Ways of Writing, Gothic Literature, and Cities and Fiction.
