Whiskey Chow is an Associate Lecturer at the Royal College of Art and an artist-curator specializing in queer(ing) masculinity, identity politics, and empowerment through art and activism. They launched the Queering Now 酷兒鬧 curatorial program, amplifying queer Chinese/Asian diaspora voices. Their interdisciplinary practice includes performance, moving image, and experimental printmaking. Chow has exhibited globally at venues like Tate Modern, V&A, and the Leslie-Lohman Museum.
Research Interests: Exploring intersections of queer theory, diaspora identity, and cultural politics. Key themes include reimagining masculinity, challenging nation-state boundaries, and queer readings of Chinese mythology. Their work bridges art, activism, and community empowerment.
