Wenjin Cui is an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of New Hampshire's College of Liberal Arts. Their research focuses on modern Chinese literature and culture, film studies, and critical theory, particularly exploring intersections between biopolitics and correlative thinking in a global context. They hold a Ph.D. in East Asian Studies from New York University, an M.A. in Modern Chinese Literature from Peking University, and a B.A. in Law from Renmin University of China.

Recent publications include a monograph on Lu Xun's biopolitical philosophy (2021) and articles on Jia Zhangke's film critiques and Lu Xun's literary strategies. Current projects investigate modern transformations of correlative thinking across 20th/21st-century Chinese cultural production. Teaching includes Chinese language courses from elementary to advanced levels, cultural theory, and modernity studies.
