Dr Wendy Inglis Humphrey is the Head of Operations and Planning for the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. She supports the College Registrar in strategic planning and leads change projects aligned with the institution's Strategy 2030. A Biological Sciences graduate from the University of Cambridge, she holds a PhD in Behavioural Neuroscience from the University of St Andrews.

Scientific awards include the Wellcome Trust Prize Travelling Research Fellowship. She previously worked at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer, Medical Research Council, and Nesta, alongside freelance innovation projects.
