Professor Wen-Chen Chang is a leading scholar in constitutional law and currently serves as Professor at National Taiwan University College of Law. Since February 2019, she has been on secondment to National Chiao Tung University as Dean and Professor of its School of Law.
- Education: PhD in Law from Yale University
Her research and teaching focus on comparative constitutional law, international human rights, administrative law, environmental law, and law and society. She has co-authored foundational works like Asian Courts in Context (2015) and Constitutionalism in Asia: Cases and Materials (2014), analyzing constitutional adjudication trends and governance frameworks across Asian jurisdictions.
Scientific Awards:
- 2015 Ministry of Science and Technology Outstanding Research Award
- 2012 Academia Sinica Young Scholar Research Award
- 2010 National Science Council Wu Ta-Yu Memorial Award
- 2007 National Taiwan University Distinguished Teaching Award
She also contributes to academic leadership as an editorial board member for journals like the International Journal of Constitutional Law and the Asian Journal of Comparative Law, while teaching courses such as Taiwan Law in Focus: Economy, Society and Democracy.
