Victoria Brook

Victoria Brook is an Associate Professor at Middlesex University, affiliated with the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education and the Department of Education. She currently serves as Teacher Education Partnership Manager, overseeing Initial Teacher Education (ITE) partnerships, governance, compliance, and quality assurance within the DfE regulatory frameworks and Ofsted standards.

Her research focuses on Professional Learning and Science Education, with a sustained interest in educational equity and the reproduction of inequities through professional course choices. She has contributed to quality assurance frameworks in postgraduate clinical education and explored mentoring standards in ITE. Her 2020 publication highlights inter-professional comparisons in mentoring practices.

Victoria supervises a PhD student in Professional Learning. She has received recognition for her contributions, including Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her career spans teaching in London secondary schools, leadership roles in higher education, and collaboration with the NHS to develop clinical teaching practices.
