Victor Abdalla is a PhD student in Health Economics at Linköping University, affiliated with the Division of Society and Health (SH) and the Unit of Health Care Analysis (HSA). He concurrently serves as a Guest Lecturer in Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) at Molde University College. His doctoral research focuses on evaluating costs and patient preferences related to health states, employing methods such as Delphi technique for instrument development, registry studies, and Willingness To Pay (WTP) analyses. Collaborations include The Foresight programme at Malmö University and the Australian Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where he contributed to oral health instrument evaluation.
Research interests span health economics methodologies, healthcare policy analysis, and translational research linking clinical outcomes to economic assessments. His work bridges quantitative research design with real-world applications in public health and medical technology assessment. Victor’s interdisciplinary approach integrates both basic and applied research within the Centre for Medical Technology Assessment (CMT).
He provides supervisory support for bachelor’s theses and is engaged in educational activities at Molde University College. His professional roles are anchored within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (MEDFAK), emphasizing evidence-based healthcare and policy development.
