Jenny Alwin is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in Evaluation and Health Economics at Linköping University, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Health, Medicine and Care (HMV). She also serves as Administrative Manager and Head of Unit, leading administrative operations to support core academic activities.
Education:

- 2010: Master's in Cognitive Science
Research Focus centers on health economic evaluations of interventions for elderly care, particularly Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) models. Her work addresses societal challenges in optimizing healthcare resource allocation for aging populations.
Recent Research Trends include cost-effectiveness analyses of CGA-adapted primary care, exergame interventions for heart failure patients, and longitudinal studies on frailty interventions. Her publications emphasize clinical outcomes, survival rates, and healthcare cost reduction.
Teaching & Leadership roles include course coordination for master's and postgraduate programs in health economics, and project leadership for LiU Commissioned Education (2018–2022). She also served on the Employment Committee and Nomination Committee at the Faculty of Medicine.
