Veronika Kapsali

Dr. Veronika Kapsali is a Professor in Material Technology and Design at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London (UAL). She leads the Active Material Systems Research Lab and serves as an AHRC Leadership Fellow in Bio-informed Textiles. Her work bridges biology, sustainability, and textile design through projects like the Business of Fashion, Textiles and Technology (BFTT) Creative Industries Clusters Programme.

Her research focuses on bioinspired textiles, sustainable fashion, and circular economy principles. Key grants include:
