Roberta Comunian is a Professor of Creative Economies, Culture, Media & Creative Industries at King's College London. Her work focuses on global creative economies, sustainable development, and Africa-Europe collaborations. She leads major research initiatives including the African Hub for Sustainable Creative Economies (AHSCE) and DISCE (Developing Inclusive & Sustainable Creative Economies).
Key research interests include creative industry dynamics in the Global South, circular fashion economies, and knowledge migration in textile sectors. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals like COMPETITION AND CHANGE and Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society, as well as producing documentary research outputs.
