Valerio Iannucci serves as a Lecturer in the Management & Organizations department at Boston University's Questrom School of Business while completing his PhD candidacy. His academic work examines the dynamic interplay between laypeople and professional systems through ethnographic lenses.

Research Interests: Iannucci investigates how non-professionals shape work practices and organizational structures, with current focus on shared care planning in cancer clinics at U.S. safety-net hospitals. His prior research analyzed grassroots pandemic responses and the societal emergence of alternative experts, revealing tensions between institutional authority and community knowledge systems. Methodologically grounded in ethnography, his work bridges organizational theory and medical sociology.

Grants and Service: His dissertation research received recognition from the National Science Foundation's Decision, Risk & Management Sciences program.
