Georg Schreyögg is Professor of Organization and Leadership at Freie Universität Berlin and a 2018 EGOS Honorary Member. He leads the 'Pfadkolleg' research group on Organizational Path Dependence. With over 14,000 citations, his research spans organizational theory, strategic management, and institutional change.
Research Interests: Schreyögg's interdisciplinary work connects sociology, economics, and management studies. Key contributions include critiques of contingency theory, Luhmannian system theory applications to organizations, dynamic capability theory advancements, and foundational research in organizational path dependence.
