Tyler Chamberlin is an Assistant Professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. He holds a B.Sc.Soc. from the University of Ottawa and a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester’s ESRC Centre for Research on Innovation and Competition (CRIC). He has been teaching since 2002, focusing on international business, corporate strategy, and technology firm management.
His research centers on innovation systems, economic growth, and public policy. He contributes to the Innovation Systems Research Network (ISRN) and previously collaborated with Statistics Canada on supply chain innovation studies. Current research clusters at the University of Ottawa include innovation and entrepreneurship.
Recent grants include SSHRC Partnership Grants totaling $2.5M (2024–2030) for experiential learning tools in social sciences and $198,793 (2023–2026) for systems transitions in inclusive innovation. He leads both grants as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Investigator (Co-I).
Labs/Teams: Active in the Telfer School’s innovation and entrepreneurship clusters, collaborating with networks like ISRN and CRIC.
