Jasmin Manseau is a Lecturer at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. He holds a B.Eng. from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Ottawa. His research focuses on emerging AI technologies, including natural language processing and intelligent assistants, and their implications for workplace digitalization and organizational strategies. He has published in top journals like ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems and the Journal of Business Ethics, and his work has been recognized with awards such as the Smith School of Business Research Excellence Award and the Part-Time Professor Telfer Award of Excellence.
Teaching areas include Strategy, Management Information Systems (MIS), Entrepreneurship, and Business Analytics at both undergraduate and MBA levels. His professional experience spans industry roles as a Management Consultant at Deloitte, co-founder of a consulting firm, and a Field Engineer at Schlumberger in the oil and gas sector. Current funded research (2024–2026) includes start-up funds from the Telfer School of Management totaling $40,000.
Research emphasizes ethical dilemmas in biometric technologies, AI-driven transformation of project management, and digital incongruence in workplaces. His articles explore topics like ICT’s role during pandemic waves and decentralized innovation in healthcare systems. He actively contributes to debates on AI ethics, employee dignity in digital workplaces, and open educational resources sustainability.
